When Passion Meets Purpose
Seth Harris, CPS-AD
Certified Peer Support Specialist/Recovery Coach
My name is Seth Harris, and I am a person in long-term recovery. A native of Atlanta, Ga., I graduated from the Westminster Schools before attending the University of Mississippi in 1999. I spent a decade in the Magnolia State before returning to Georgia in 2011.
Currently, I am the Associate Director of Admissions for a local addiction treatment program for men. Additionally, I help co-facilitate
The Freedom Experience, a weekly support group that meets in the Woodstock, Ga., area.
In February 2020, I became a Certified Peer Specialist - Addictive Diseases (CPS-AD) through the Georgia Council on Substance Abuse (GCSA). I am passionate about supporting others as they discover the freedom and joy that recovery brings.
Clients Come First
By choosing to "recover out loud," I have been fortunate to help hundreds of individuals and their loved ones navigate a path toward hope and freedom. I follow a person-centered approach that seeks to honor each individual’s story, and I believe autonomy, gratitude and staying present are guideposts for every recovery journey.
